Basel Airport closed again due to bomb threat

Basel Airport had to be evacuated again on Friday afternoon due to a bomb threat. The terminal was evacuated and flight operations were suspended.

This repeats the processes that had to be practiced the day before. On October 19, 2023 it will be around 13:30 p.m received a bomb threat. This turned out to be a false alarm. Flight operations resumed on Thursday evening.

Now we received another threat on Friday, October 20, 2023 and therefore had to stop flight operations again. Basel Airport is located on French territory. This Friday, threats were received at a total of 12 airports in this state. Flight operations did not have to be suspended everywhere.
