Bulgaria relaxes its entry requirements and reintroduces the 3G rule.
Travelers from other countries, regardless of the respective corona situation, only need to certify that they have been vaccinated against Covid-19, have recovered or tested negative for quarantine-free entry. For a long time, only vaccinated and recovered people were allowed to enter Bulgaria, and only with a negative PCR test. If there is no valid corona certificate, the person entering the country must go into a ten-day quarantine. Free testing is possible no earlier than 72 hours after arrival. In addition, there is no longer a mask requirement in closed public spaces in the EU country, such as in supermarkets, shopping centers or fitness studios. The health authorities now only recommend wearing a mask on local public transport and in clinics. This is reported by the Swiss travel portal About Travel.
