Golf carrier Emirates Airline currently relies on full freighters from the manufacturer Boeing in the cargo sector. However, it is not set in stone that it will always stay that way, as the Airbus A350F is currently being evaluated.

Emirates is said to be seriously considering an A350F order, according to a Bloomberg News report citing people familiar with the matter. The performance is currently being compared with the Boeing 777-8. Nabil Sultan, the responsible vice president, said in an interview with Bloomberg that a decision would probably be made in four years.

Emirates Airline plans to double its cargo fleet over a period of about a decade. They are also currently evaluating whether Emirates will need a different fleet mix in the freight sector in the future. First of all, it is clear that some Boeing 777-300ERs will be converted into full freighters after their time in service as passenger aircraft.
