On June 30, Finland will let all remaining entry restrictions that were issued in the wake of the corona pandemic expire.
With the easing, all travelers, regardless of their country of origin or their vaccination status, are allowed to come to Finland again according to the regulations in force before the pandemic. For Austrian travelers and other EU citizens, this means that only a valid identity card is required for stays of up to three months. Until June 30th, proof of a complete corona vaccination, a recovery within the last six months or a PCR or antigen test no more than 72 hours old must also be presented upon entry.
Even within the country, there are hardly any corona-related restrictions to be observed. Since March 1st, masks have no longer been compulsory in closed public rooms, mouth and nose protection is only recommended for people with suspected or confirmed CoV infections. Even on public transport, the mask no longer has to be worn, but there is still a recommendation.
