After the Leipzig/Halle-Düsseldorf route had to be discontinued in November 2021, the airline Eurowings was able to confirm the reactivation of the route.

The airline Eurowings has confirmed the reactivation of the Leipzig/Halle-Düsseldorf route. The route was last served in November 2021 and was discontinued due to weak demand. Eurowings will resume operations with three flights per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The first flight took place this morning. Airbus A320 aircraft are used.
