The government of Panama has declared the pandemic state of emergency in the country over and thus abolished all corona-related requirements for entry. This means that unvaccinated travelers can also re-enter the state in Central America.
On September 14, the Panamanian government abolished all pandemic-related entry restrictions by decree. Thus, neither a vaccination nor a test certificate is necessary if vacationers want to enter Panama. A visit is therefore possible again for non-vaccinated travelers. A passport or temporary passport is required for entry, and no visa is required for a stay of up to 90 days. However, the local authorities would also check whether tourists have a valid onward travel ticket and whether they meet the entry requirements for the country of onward travel, as Check24 reports. If there are still corona-related entry regulations that travelers do not comply with, problems can also arise when entering Panama.
