The Airbus A380 with the registration JA383A has had to wait for its transfer to Japan for almost two years. The time will finally come on October 16, 2021, because All Nippon Airways will then solemnly receive the third and last superjumbo.
The Japanese airline has ordered a total of three Airbus A380s. Two were taken over as planned and the third unit has had to wait for a long time in Toulouse for its new home in Japan. The three super jumbos have special paintwork dedicated to turtles.
The "Ka La" was formally accepted by All Nippon Airways, but to date not flown out to Tokyo. That will change on Saturday and then the A380 trio will be complete. The carrier uses this type of machine primarily in traffic between Japan and Hawaii.
