Canada plans to allow fully vaccinated people to enter the country without quarantine starting September 7, 2021. It is currently planned that online entry registration and submission of a negative corona test will be necessary. The opening of the borders would then also apply to Europeans.

Local media report that children under the age of 12 accompanied by their vaccinated parents are allowed to enter the country with a negative corona test. The exact form has not yet been finalized, as the new procedures will first be tested with the neighboring country of the USA.

From August 9, 2021, travel between the United States and Canada will be made possible again for vaccinated persons without any conditions. It is not yet clear whether you also have to submit a negative corona test if you come from the USA.
