The airline Aeroitalia plans to expand its presence at Milan Bergamo Airport in Italy from December 2022. Two new routes are planned. In addition, the aim is to fly to the capital Rome several times a day from mid-November 2022.
Aeroitalia intends to operate up to 14 weekly rotations between Bergamo and Rome-Fiumicino from November 2022, 16. On the traffic days Monday to Friday there should be three pairs of flights. There is said to be a flight from Bergamo to Rome on Saturdays, with the return flight only taking place on Sundays.
From December 2, 2022, the plan is to fly twice a week from Milan-Bergamo to Bacau. This destination will also be offered from Rome-Fiumicino. Also new in the program from December 2, 2022: Catania. The Sicilian city will initially be served five times a week. From December 19, 2022, the intention is to fly six times a week.
From Forli, which is the official home base of Aeroitalia, the plan is to fly three times a week to Catania and twice a week to Trapani in the 2022/23 winter flight schedule. From there, three weekly trips to the Sicilian city are also planned. The carrier also takes ATR72 machines under wet lease. These are to be used primarily on domestic Italian routes.
