Air Canada launches new Disney safety video

Air Canada will launch a new safety video later this year. This should be shown on all flights that are equipped with the necessary screens. It was made in collaboration with Disney.

Many passengers feel downright annoyed by the crew's important safety instructions or by the videos played on this subject. Some people just don't care and don't pay attention. Again and again, airlines come up with particularly creative little films or even performances to increase the attention of travelers.

Air Canada has teamed up with Disney Corporation to record the world's first safety video, produced at Walt Disney World. This is to be played from July 2023 until probably the end of September 2023 on around 90 percent of the Canadian carrier's connections before the start. The prerequisite for this is, of course, that the machine type used has the necessary screens.

“Family is at the core of the reasons so many of us travel. For the past few years, we've focused on improving the Air Canada family travel experience with family-friendly policies, family check-in desks and shared family benefits in our Aeroplan loyalty program," said Andy Shibata, Vice President Brand, Air Canada. “When we thought about ways to make the travel experience even more enjoyable for families, we were inspired by Disney to make travel a little more magical for everyone. Our new flight safety video encourages travelers of all ages to learn about the safety features of our aircraft in a new and engaging way."
