As of October 31, 2021, Air France will be using the new Airbus A220-300 in scheduled services as planned. The first destinations will be Berlin, Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Milan and Venice. The carrier has ordered a total of 60 copies.

The “Canadian Airbuses” will gradually replace the aging A318 and A319. “This new aircraft, with its unparalleled energy efficiency, is a great asset for Air France. From October 31, 2021, the Airbus A220-300 will fly from Air France's Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub to Berlin, Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Milan-Linate and Venice. In the winter flight schedule 2021/2022, he is gradually expanding his route network to Bologna, Rome, Lisbon and Copenhagen.
