From March 31, 2022, the airline Air France will gradually switch to the Airbus A220-300 on the route from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Vienna-Schwechat. So far, the A318 and A319 have usually been used.
Air France's Airbus A220-300 has 148 seats in a 3-2 configuration, offering 80 percent of customers a window or aisle seat. It is divided into Business and Economy travel classes and passengers have access to the Air France Connect Wi-Fi service. In addition, guests have at their disposal a wide, stable tray table, a cup holder, a compartment for storing magazines and books, as well as USB A and C ports and a tablet or smartphone holder integrated into the backrest.
Air France decided some time ago that the aging short-haul fleet with the A220 model should be renewed. The carrier is one of the world's last operators of the rare Airbus A318. The subsidiary Hop could be soon received numerous Embraer 190-E2.
