So-called "unruly PAX" always cause a stir. In the USA, a first-class passenger has now been excluded from an American Airlines flight in a questionable manner because the passenger only asked for a gin and tonic before departure and otherwise behaved in accordance with the rules.
After the man asked a flight attendant if he could have a gin and tonic before takeoff, he was informed shortly thereafter that the captain had decided he would not be allowed to fly and would have to vacate the plane. The first-class passenger no longer understood the world and refused.
The police were then called. First, officers respectfully asked him several times to get off the flight. He then argues with the flight attendants. The man repeatedly asked the officers to tell him what "crime" he committed in order not to be allowed to fly. When the man does not comply with the request, an officer can be seen taking his luggage out of the overhead locker. Shortly thereafter, the officers attempted to forcibly remove the man from his seat.
The passenger dramatically tells officers to "stop" as he exits his seat. The man continues to moan before stretching out on the floor while being handcuffed. His sneaker is thrown to the side and he is heard crying. Apparently, violence was only used when the man remained motionless and failed to comply with the officer's repeated requests. American Airlines First Class allows passengers to choose a drink before departure, but it's unclear why the man was denied a drink.
