April: Only 100 passengers in Bremen

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

In April 2020, the north German airport only counted 100 passengers due to the corona pandemic. A low point in the history of the airport.

This year's April will probably not be remembered very fondly at Bremen Airport. The passenger volume was 100 passengers - a record low. In addition, the number of flight movements decreased by 80 percent.

And although the airport ran into financial difficulties as a result, it still had to remain operational - for example for ambulance flights or transport machines. It is therefore not surprising that the future prospects are dark. Only recently, the airport boss announced that the loss of revenue by the end of the year would be around 33 million euros, like weser-kurier.de reported.
