The startup Lalona Air seems to have come to an end, because former employees of the company told CH-Aviation.com and Aviation.Direct that they had filed criminal charges against the 24-year-old company founder.

Felix Becker, who should have acted as Chief Operating Officer, confirmed to CH-Aviation that several criminal charges had been filed against the company founder. Several employees raised allegations against Aviation.Direct that the salaries should not have been paid and on top of that no registration with the social security should have been made. Individuals are said to have received "a little bit of cash".

According to one employee, Lalona Air is said to have had six employees last. These should have worked without a salary and without registration. However, this would only have become aware now, because they had official employment contracts with the GmbH, which was never founded. The bubble is said to have burst when the office complex was “handed over” with a monthly rent of 17.000 euros. The realtor refused to hand over the keys because the deposit and the first rent did not arrive. Subsequently, the mood among the workforce is said to have shifted and the true extent to have come to light.

Even the former aviation entrepreneur Hans Rudolf Wöhrl was named as an investor. He did not know anything about an alleged investment until the end and emphasized to CH-Aviation.com among other things: “I have absolutely nothing to do with Lalona Air. I am at least as angry as everyone else about it and the possible damage to my reputation ”. Lalona Air employees told Aviation Direct that they had also "phoned" other alleged investors and then it came to light that the alleged investors did not even know Lalona Air or the founder.

Employees claim that bank guarantees have been forged

“We are deeply shaken. We have been given fake employment contracts, partners like Air Alsie have been given fake bank guarantees and fake payment confirmations have been sent for some payments. There are endless complaints and complaints. When the broker did not hand over the keys for the 17.000 euro office complex and said that neither the deposit nor the rent had been paid, everything was blown, ”said an employee who was never formally employed due to a lack of registration. “Even the sales tax ID number was faked. The worst thing I find, however, is that the employees did not receive any salary at all or only had a little cash in hand without registering "

The air carrier Air Alsie, which should have acted as a partner of Lalona Air, has not received any payments. “We felt that something was wrong. At some point Alsie didn't even answer our emails, ”said a Lalona employee. “Now it is clear why. They didn't get any money and the supposed bank guarantees that were supposed to be drawn were not worth the paper on which they were printed ”.

Dennis Rybasch, Chief Executive Officer of Air Alsie, confirmed to CH-Aviation that the contract with Lalona Air had been terminated and the slots obtained at Düsseldorf Airport had been returned to the regulator. “I cannot give any details about the reason for the end of the cooperation - only that Lalona Air could not meet the requirements for a continuation of the cooperation in the next phase. Lalona was able to meet the contract conditions for Step One in the facility. Since they could not meet the requirements for the second step, we withdrew, ”the manager told CH-Aviation.com. The managing director of Lalona Air did not respond to telephone inquiries from Aviation Direct and emails from CH-Aviation.com.
