In the 2022/23 winter timetable, Austrian Airlines will be offering seasonal non-stop flights between Berlin and Innsbruck. These are to be carried out between January 28 and February 25, 2023 on the Saturday traffic day.

In a press release, the carrier writes, among other things, that the connection to the Tyrolean state capital is further improved with the seasonal route. The additional flights in addition to the existing connections from Vienna, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Stockholm and Copenhagen mean that up to 48 course pairs per week are offered together with the sister companies of the Lufthansa Group during the high season.

"With this seasonal service, our flight program to Berlin will be upgraded, which will delight passengers with an affinity for winter sports with the convenience of a direct connection to Tyrol. With almost 50 weekly flight connections to Innsbruck, Austrian Airlines and the Lufthansa Group make a significant contribution to strengthening tourist traffic in the region,” says Austrian Airlines CCO Michael Trestl.

The Vienna-Berlin connection will also be expanded with an additional flight on Saturdays around the semester break. Not only do city tourists who travel to Vienna or Berlin benefit from this, but also numerous transfer passengers who use the Vienna hub as a convenient hub for their onward flight.

The new Berlin connection in detail (January 28, 2023 – February 25, 2023):
