Salzburg Airport is getting offspring: Easyjet will connect the Austrian capital with Barcelona in the future.

In the course of the opening steps in Europe and falling entry restrictions, the carrier is also expanding its summer flight schedule from Austria. The first plane takes off on July 20th - every Tuesday and Saturday. The airline wants to keep the connection up until the end of October. The flight tickets to the Catalan metropolis are now also activated for booking.

“We know our customers can't wait to explore Europe, fly in the sun or be reunited with friends and family. That is why we have added a new route to Barcelona in order to expand our offer in Austria and to fly our customers on their well-deserved vacation ”, says Easyjet Europe boss Thomas Haagensen.
