The Aeroitalia airline continues to expand its presence at Bergamo Airport. A non-stop connection to London Heathrow has been announced for December 5, 2022. This will be served five times a week.

Aeroitalia intends to serve this route with medium-haul Boeing 737-800 jets. It is to be flown on the traffic days Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The flight times are not uniform. These vary depending on the day of the flight.
