Skyalps, the house brand of Bolzano Airport, intends to fly to Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen and London, among others, from December 15, 2021. According to managing director Josef Gostner, ticket sales will start shortly.

The flights will be operated with DHC Dash 8-400s chartered by the Maltese Luxwing. The manager told the daily Alto Adige that the new routes should primarily appeal to skiers who want to spend their winter holidays in South Tyrol. The consortium that took over Bolzano Airport some time ago and is also behind Skyalps is very active in the hotel industry in South Tyrol. It is therefore not surprising that the route network is mainly geared towards incoming traffic.

Co-Managing Director Alex Spinato announced in an interview with Vola Bologna that they are currently working on being in the air with three Dash 2022-8s in the summer flight schedule of 400. “We'll start our ski routes in December. I can already say that we will fly to London, Copenhagen, Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Rotterdam, for example, ”said the Skyalps manager.
