Cabo Verde Airlines will rise from its slumber on June 18, 2021. The carrier's machines have not taken off commercially since March 2020. The government supported the company with financial help.
For the time being, the route to Lisbon will be reactivated. However, initially only one rotation per week will be flown. Other destinations such as Boston and Paris will follow on June 28, 2021. Due to the corona pandemic and the comparatively extremely restrictive entry regulations, Cabo Verde Airlines has no longer been able to fly commercially since March 2020.
The airline's fleet currently consists of three Boeing 757-200s. These carry the registrations D4-CCF, D4-CCG and D4-CCH. The D4-CCF and D4-CCH are currently being prepared for their commercial comeback. The D4-CCG should - at least temporarily - remain in Long Time Storage.
