The German-Swedish finance company Triton Partners Corendon once wanted to merge Dutch Airlines and Sunweb. But nothing came of it, Sunweb canceled the deal. The Dutch airline did not want to let that sit and went to court. Without success: the lawsuit has now been dismissed.

The responsible judge thus decides in favor of the Sunweb Group to draw a line on the takeover of Corendon Dutch Airlines. In June of last year, the subsidiary of Triton Partners was supposed to take over the low-cost plane for 176 million US dollars. But the corona crisis changed the aviation business suddenly, so that the negotiated purchase price appeared questionable. The court advised the two parties to adapt the deal to the new situation, like the aviation portal Swiss Aviation reported. The airline has a fleet of three Boeing 737-800s. This will take you to destinations around the Mediterranean. In addition to Corendon Dutch Airlines, the group has an airline in Turkey (14 aircraft) and one in Malta (Corendon Airlines Europe, 6 aircraft).
