The US American Delta Air Lines will fleet two more long-haul Airbus A350 aircraft. These are used aircraft that are to be taken over in December 2021.

The company will buy the two affected machines. In addition, 38 other used aircraft of various types were secured. It was recently announced that options would be drawn for 55 brand new Airbus A321s. These are to be delivered between 2022 and 2027.

Some US airlines, including Delta, are using the fall in prices for commercial aircraft due to the corona pandemic to renew their fleets. With some providers, some machine types are showing their age.
