Icelandic airline Eagle Air and German aircraft manufacturer Deutsche Aircraft have renewed their maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) contract.

Deutsche Aircraft will continue to maintain Eagle Air's Do 328-110. The two companies have had a similar agreement since February 2020. The contract extension extends over two years. The Scandinavian airline has been using a Do 2018 turboprop since summer 328. It is mainly used for passenger transport within the island. The manufacturer will carry out the maintenance work at its main location at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport near Munich.

“As we use our Do 328s on a variety of missions within Iceland, we need a reliable maintenance contractor to ensure the operational readiness of our fleet's flagship. In the last two years, Deutsche Aircraft has proven to be this partner. We are pleased to extend the maintenance contract for another two years,” says Björn Eggertsson, Technical Manger Eagle Air.
