“The search queries for major US destinations such as New York and Miami were consistently high, even when it was not possible to enter the United States and bookings decreased accordingly. Many people have dreamed of finally seeing their loved ones again. We now expect that a large part of the search queries will be converted into bookings very quickly, as friends and families make plans to meet again and holidaymakers also make their way to their favorite places in the USA, ”said Skyscanner spokeswoman Friederike Burge.
