The European Commission is working with the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to launch a common EU digital entry system. This is intended to make travel between the member states even safer.
“Four weeks ago we were commissioned to develop a digital form for the passenger search. We are now starting the first pilot project - in close cooperation with EASA, ”said Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during the press conference. The goal is to be ready with the passenger search form by the end of the year, as news.gtp.gr reports. Greece was the first country within the European Union to introduce a PLF system for travelers.
