The Lufthansa Group is currently having Airbus A320 aircraft repainted in Shannon and Ostrava in the colors of Eurowings Discover. Among other things, the D-AIUY has returned from the Czech Republic in the new livery.

This shows a special feature, because the Eurowings Discover A320 is given the so-called “Zorro mask”. Within the Lufthansa Group, this has so far only been painted on Neo models for medium-haul aircraft. This means that the A320ceo from the new leisure airline are the first to receive them as “non-neo aircraft”.

The D-AIUY (in the photo) was repainted in Ostrava in the colors of Eurowings Discover. This machine is 5,2 years old and was previously in use at Lufthansa. Almost at the same time as it arrived in Germany, the D-AIUX was flown in the direction of the Paintshop Ostrava. In Shannon, the D-AIKH got its new color dress and has already arrived in Frankfurt am Main.

Eurowings Discover will serve numerous hot water and holiday destinations with the A320 fleet. The machines come from Lufthansa’s inventory and are currently being successively repainted in the design of the new subsidiary. This is largely based on that of the sister company Eurowings.
