The Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings is making initial adjustments to the flight plan for the future base in Prague. The route to Zagreb will only start on December 16, 2021 and will be served to a lesser extent.

Only around Christmas and New Years should be offered two rounds per week. A weekly rotation is planned from January 15, 2022 until the end of the winter flight planning period 2021/22.

The Prague base is being set up by the Austrian subsidiary Eurowings Europe. Another new base is for Stockholm-Arlanda announced. In both cases, the previous top dogs in the low-cost segment are weakening. In Sweden, the Lufthansa subsidiary is also facing competition from Ryanair, as this low-cost airline is moving from Skavsta to Arlanda.
