Federal President Steinmeier pays a visit to Nuremberg

Nuremberg Airport had important visitors on Tuesday, as two government planes landed at the airport. On board the Airbus A340 was Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who was welcomed by Bavarian Minister Melanie Huml, among others.

Furthermore, an Airbus A321 of the flight readiness has landed. Together with a delegation consisting of ambassadors and high-ranking representatives of international organizations, the head of state is visiting the cities of Nuremberg, Erlangen and Bamberg.

The Federal President was welcomed at the airport by Minister of State Melanie Huml, Airport Managing Director Michael Hupe and Gerd Lesko, Head of the Nuremberg Airport Border Police Inspection.
