Saudia Airlines is now offering direct flights from Paris to Al Ula for the first time. The new line is the first direct connection between the historic north-west region of Saudi Arabia and Europe.

The direct flight departs from Charles de Gaulle Airport every Sunday from 30 January to 27 March 2022. After a five-hour flight in a Saudia Boeing 787, passengers land at the new Al Ula International Airport. The first flight took place yesterday. This is reported by the travel portal About Travel. “This is indeed a historic moment for Al Ula and an important step forward in our quest to share our story and destination with the world. We hope that many Europeans will take the opportunity to visit our historic sites and perhaps attend some of our winter events as flights continue until March 27, 2022,” said Phillip Jones, Chief Destination Management and Marketing Officer of the Royal Commission at AlUla.
