The very popular holiday destination Thailand is simplifying the entry regulations with effect from March 1, 2022. Only people who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 at least twice can benefit from this.

What is new is that only one PCR test has to be completed immediately after arrival. You then have to wait for the results in a specially certified hotel. If this result is negative, you can move freely. Thailand calls the new model "Test&Go".

The PCR test, which was previously mandatory on the fifth day after entry, is no longer required. What is new is that an antigen self-test must be completed. The result must then be sent to the authorities via an app. The so-called "Thailand passport" must still be applied for online before entering the country.
