For the approximately 3.500 employees of the Fraport subsidiary Fraground, there will be a salary increase effective July 1, 2022. The employer and the Verdi union have agreed on this after two rounds of negotiations.

The company is particularly active in the field of ground handling services at the Frankfurt am Main location. Salaries are to be increased by up to 14 percent. The approximately 3.500 employees will also receive a one-time payment of 700 euros. The latter is intended in particular as a so-called cost-of-living adjustment.

According to the union, hourly wages are to be increased by between 1,64 and 2,74 euros per hour worked. So it should turn out that the employees will earn up to 425 euros more per month.
