A woman who has stripped down to her underwear tried to enter the cockpit of the British low-cost airline Jet2 twice. According to eyewitness reports, the woman was stopped by a passenger. The lady is said to have yelled "Allahu Akbar" repeatedly.
The situation on board is said to have been completely normal at first. Suddenly a woman is said to have stripped down to her underwear, ran to the cockpit and banged on the door, yelling "Allahu Akbar". According to a report by the British Mirror, a man who used to work as security is said to have stepped in.
The woman claimed that she worked for the Islamic State and that there were explosives on the plane. The incident at the cockpit door was repeated because the approximately 30-year-old managed to escape the flight attendants. Now the former security overpowered the Unruly-Pax again and the cabin crew then fixed them to a seat with the help of the passenger.
The Jet2 machine was en route from Cyprus to Manchester. For safety reasons, the captain decided to make a stopover in Paris. There the underwear lady was taken away by the executive. The airline confirmed there had been an incident on a flight from Larnaca to Manchester earlier last week. An unscheduled stopover in Paris was made due to a "disturbing passenger". The carrier did not want to go into further details for tactical reasons.
