From July, Aegean Airlines will again connect the Greek capital Athens with Nuremberg Airport twice a week.

The flights are planned every Wednesday and Sunday from July 6th. Due to the early morning departure, there are connections to almost all of the airline's destinations in Greece, including the islands, via Athens, the most important hub for Aegean. Aegean will also be offering direct flights from Nuremberg to Thessaloniki in summer 2022. These start on Tuesdays and Saturdays as early as June 4th. The non-stop connection should not only serve the tourist demand. The offer is aimed particularly at over 20.000 people with a Greek background living in the metropolitan region, for whom it is now easier for them to visit relatives and friends in the region.
