The International Airlines Group now has a subsidiary: BA Euroflyer Ltd. was entered in the UK commercial register this week. This is the new British Airways airline that is to operate from London Gatwick.

Thomas David Stoddart and Andrew Christopher Quigley are managing directors of the new daughter who has just been christened. British Airways plc is the sole owner of BA Euroflyer Limited. It is noteworthy that the new company was founded with only one British pound of registered capital.

It is to be expected that this will be increased in the course of the application for AOC and operating license. So far, no application has been submitted to the CAA, but this is only a matter of a few weeks. British Airways wants to get the Gatwick subsidiary up and running quickly. With the unions it was found a compromise.
