The US search engine giant Google is now also selling tickets for the Japanese All Nippon Airways. Star Alliance member's flight tickets can now be purchased directly via the Google Flights price comparison, which is quite controversial in the industry.
According to the carrier, the IATA New Distribution Capability Standard is used. ANA sees an additional sales channel in Google Flights and assumes a high level of customer acceptance. "The introduction of the Book on Google service streamlines the process and enables flights to be booked easily in just a few steps," the company said.
For the new service, ANA uses the industry-leading NDC aggregator with the British platform Travelfusion. ANA has been working continuously for years to make traveling more convenient and will continue to develop its NDC platform in the future in order to simplify the booking of international flights.
