Around 2021 holiday destinations are to be offered from Graz Airport in summer 15. These include Calvi, Karpathos, Naxos and Zakynthos. Classics such as Palma de Mallorca and Brac are also planned.

In addition, the return of flights to the important transfer airports in Frankfurt, Zurich and Amsterdam is planned in the coming weeks, Graz Airport announced in a broadcast. The airport also welcomes the changes planned by the federal government in the entry regulations in preparation for the so-called Green Pass.

The new regulation, which is based on the corona traffic light of the EU health agency ECDC, provides that travelers from non-high-incidence areas no longer have to be in quarantine in the future. From the current perspective, the quarantine requirement for popular holiday destinations such as Greece, Italy or Spain, countries in which most of the tourist destinations planned for the summer from Graz are located, would be eliminated.

"We expressly welcome the amendment to the travel guidelines, because it is an essential step in restoring the freedom to travel", explain the two managing directors of Graz Airport, Wolfgang Grimus and Jürgen Löschnig. "The steps towards normality planned by the federal government and the EU, but also the extensive preparations by the travel industry, will again enable carefree travel and thus boost bookings for summer holidays."
