The negative PCR test may not have been more than 72 hours prior to arrival, the rapid test may not have been more than 24 hours ago. This stricter regulation will initially apply until January 24, 2022, according to the ORF. In addition, travelers to Greece must still register before starting their journey. In Greece, the number of new infections with the corona virus has risen rapidly in the past few days due to the new variant.
