The Greek charter airline Orange2Fly is broke. The carrier had to file for bankruptcy with the competent court in Athens.
The carrier was founded in 2015 and most recently had four Airbus A320s in operation. The turnover in 2020 was 11,5 million euros. The carrier posted a net loss of 3,7 million euros.
Overall, losses accumulated in the amount of 9,5 million euros. With creditors, Orange2Fly is said to be in the chalk with 11,6 million euros. Furthermore, it is said by credit protection associations that the airline has no outstanding bank loans. Whether the small airline can continue or not is still open.
