One of the ground handling licenses was reassigned at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport. The previous service provider Wisag was able to assert itself and will continue to work at this airport.

The start of the new license is December 1, 2022. However, the award is not final yet, as unsuccessful applicants can still appeal within four weeks. According to its own information, Wisag currently has 900 employees at the BER site. It offers both passage and apron services.

Other pillars at this location are cargo and cleaning services. The Wisag Group is owned by the Wisser family and is one of the largest aviation service providers in the Federal Republic of Germany. Ground handling licenses must be re-tendered periodically.
