London Heathrow Airport wanted to squeeze the losses caused by the corona pandemic on airline customers. A drastic fee increase was planned. The British Civil Aviation Authority thwarted the bill and prohibited the project.

The authority argues in the decision that the price increase is "not in the interests of consumers and is disproportionate".
