The first Airbus A330-343 destined for the British startup FlyPop will be registered as a 9H-POP on the AOC of HiFly Malta. The aforementioned machine, which was previously in the service of Cebu Pacific, arrived a few days ago as VP-CUF at Luqa Airport.

Maintenance work is currently being carried out at Safi Aviation Park, which is located on the area of Malta International Airport. These primarily concern the cabin. On October 26, 2021, the long-haul jet was pushed out of the hangar and will be transferred to Portugal.

According to the current information status, HiFly Malta is to operate two Airbus A330s for FlyPop. The second machine is expected in Luqa in the next few days. It is now clear that the British startup will use HiFly Malta charter services and - at least for the time being - will not set up its own flight operations.
