International Airlines Group, with the approval of its shareholders, has confirmed an order for a further 37 A320neo-series aircraft.

The latest order follows previous agreements for 22 A320neo Family aircraft (17 A320neo, 5 A321neo) announced in March and June 2022, bringing the total number of single aisle aircraft this year to 59.

“IAG uses Airbus aircraft to a large extent in its fleet, making it one of the largest Airbus customers worldwide. These latest-generation aircraft will play a key role in delivering on IAG's stated environmental goal of operating the world's most fuel-efficient aircraft," said Christian Scherer, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Airbus International.
