The Wizz Air Group is getting a new chief financial officer in Ian Malin. The manager will take office on October 1, 2022 and succeeds Jourik Hooghe, who will leave the group at his own request.

The acting chief financial officer should be available until December 31, 2022 in order to simplify an orderly handover to his successor. Malin will work for the low coster from the Budapest location.

The finance department includes the agendas of financial planning, controlling, accounting, treasury, investor relations and digital development. As a board member, Ian Malin will report directly to CEO Jozsef Varadi.
