"Camouflaged" in a burqa, an Indonesian man tried to travel from Jakarta to Ternate. The problem with the matter: Previously, the corona test necessary for the domestic flight had been positive. So he tried to travel under the identity of his wife and so that it is not so noticeable in a burqa.

He was actually quarantined in Jakarta, but he still tried to get home to Ternate. In order to get a negative corona test, he assumed the identity of his wife. This had been tested beforehand and its findings were negative. So, despite the positive test and the quarantine order, the man "hid" himself in a burqa and said that nobody would notice it "camouflaged" in this way.

That worked quite well at first, because according to “Vice” he actually got into the plane. But then he became reckless and took off the burqa. Coincidentally, it is said to have been seen by an airport employee who brought the passenger list on board and had previously checked the identity papers at the gate. For safety reasons, he reported his observation to the master and his supervisor.

Now it was decided that the burqa man should be checked again and lo and behold: The woman's ID did not, of course, match the man who had just taken off the burqa. Now it went very quickly, because the Indonesian is said to have been cooperative and to have confessed his almost unbelievable story. The health authorities ordered that he be segregated in Jakarta and that he would adhere to it: an ambulance was used.

According to official statements, the traveler should have his main residence in Jakarta and live there with his wife. However, he originally comes from Ternate, where numerous relatives are said to live. He wanted to visit this - for whatever reason - despite the positive corona test. The official bodies did not provide any information about the reasons for his trip. In any case, Indonesia is extremely strict about such behavior, so the man will shortly be brought to justice. In extreme cases, he could even face imprisonment.
