The British airline Jet2 will purchase 15 more Airbus A321neo. Taking into account the order from August 2021, the volume increases to 51 machines of this type.

The "reorder" is to be delivered between 2026 and 2029. Neither Airbus nor Jet2 issued a media release on the event. However, the shareholders were informed by means of a stock market ad hoc. Here the carrier writes, among other things: “The board of directors is pleased to announce that the company has reached an agreement with Airbus for the purchase of 15 additional newly ordered Airbus A321neo aircraft. This order complements the 36 firm aircraft orders, along with the flexibility to expand up to 60 aircraft announced by the company on August 31, 2021 ”.

Jet2 has been a loyal Boeing operator for many years. With the order from August 2021 the foundation stone for the reloading on Airbus may have been laid. The latest reorder clearly underscores this impression.
