The Canadian low-cost airline Flair Airlines will fleet a total of 13 Boeing 737 Max 8s. The first machines are to be delivered this year. These will be obtained from the leasing company 777 Partners, which recently acquired 24 units from inventory and holds options for 60 more.

It can therefore be assumed that Flair Airlines will lease the newcomers at particularly favorable conditions. “Our efficient new aircraft form the basis for the implementation of our ULCC business model. With these aircraft we can keep the tariffs low and at the same time expand our service to meet the demand for travel, ”explains Flair boss Stephen Jones in a broadcast. 189 seats are to be built into the machines.

The lowcoster currently operates three Boeing 737-800s. In the next few years the plan is to expand strongly and expand the fleet to around 50 machines. The Boeing 737 Max 8 model will play a key role here. When the first aircraft of this type will be handed over is still open. In any case, it should be delivered by spring 2021 at the latest.
