The ticket seller Green Airlines is facing a lawsuit worth millions by Zeitfracht subsidiary German Airways. The airline stopped its services due to default in payment and is demanding payment of the contractually agreed charter rates.
A report by the Airliners.de portal revealed that German Airways had asked the ticket seller Green Airlines to pay € 800.000 by means of a letter from a lawyer. If this sum is not paid by the end of the last week of August, you will file a lawsuit for 11,3 million euros.
A spokesman for the Zeitfracht group, to which German Airways belongs, told Aviation.Direct: "The deadline has passed without a reaction". The matter will now deal with the factually and locally competent civil court. In view of the amount of the claim that German Airways raises against Green Airlines, the lawyer's and court costs alone are exorbitantly high, because these are stipulated by law and are based on the amount in dispute.
