Under the Austrian registration OE-IDB, an Airbus A330-343 in the colors of the low-cost airline Flynas was transferred to Luqa Airport on Friday. Maintenance work is carried out at Lufthansa Technik.

This long-haul aircraft will then join the Flynas fleet as the HZ-NE24. The current OE-IDB is currently registered with the lessor Wilmington Trust SP Services (Dublin) Limited and entered in the Austrian register.

The register run by Austro Control has become particularly popular with Lessoren in recent years for entering machines between two orders. It often happens that after the return to the lessor, a new lessee is not immediately available. In such cases, aircraft are then registered to the owner. As already mentioned: The Austrian register has been very popular for several years.

The aircraft that recently landed in Malta was delivered to Air Europa in 2015. The long-haul jet was then used by Wow Air. This A330 last flew with Turkish Airlines. The commissioning as NZ-NE24 at Flynas will take place shortly.
