Temporary work agency Crewlink celebrates a comeback at Lauda Europe

Even under Niki Lauda's management, it was promised that there would be no more temporary work. But under the ownership of Ryanair, this vehicle was reintroduced at Laudamotion. For this purpose, the Irish personnel leasing provider Crewlink set up a "virtual" Austrian branch near the Austrian Parliament with a well-known mailbox provider.

The Crewlink personnel who were previously deployed for Laudamotion were leased to the Maltese Lauda Europe in the course of the switchover. Laudamotion is no longer an airline, but for a while there was the special feature that the staff working in Austria were then hired directly by Lauda Europe and not via Crewlink. This strategy is now being abandoned again, because the temporary work agency is also looking for cabin crew for Vienna-Schwechat.

In the job advertisement, in which, contrary to Austrian law, no salary information is given, one is looking for flight attendants for Vienna, Zadar, Zagreb and Palma de Mallorca - but not for London-Stansted. For the British airport, Lauda Europe itself is looking for job advertisements on the Ryanair Group's homepage. There is no logic to this approach.

Lauda Europe is a Maltese airline that flies on behalf of its sister company Ryanair DAC with the Airbus A320 on the Ryanair route network. The aircraft of the carrier, which emerged indirectly from Niki, are based in Vienna, Palma de Mallorca, London-Stansted, Zagreb and Zadar. The latter base is purely a summer station, which is reactivated in the warm season. According to the company, no further basis is planned for the summer of 2022 as things currently stand.
