The bankruptcy proceedings of the former airline Level Europe GmbH are about to be concluded. The trustee has now submitted a distribution draft. This provides for a quota of 43 percent for the creditors.

For April 28, 2021, the Korneuburg Regional Court has invited the creditors to a subsequent audit statute. This will be carried out at 10:30 a.m. due to the corona pandemic in the form of a video conference. It is also the final billing and distribution agenda. The court can then approve the distribution of the 43 percent quota, which can then be distributed by the trustee.

That would end the story of Level Europe, which is founded as Anisec Luftfahrt. Towards the end of 2020, the AOC and the operating license were canceled. The Korneuburg Regional Court ordered the final closure and liquidation of the former IAG subsidiary. Negotiations with potential buyers had previously failed. The entire workforce has meanwhile been terminated by the trustee.

A formal process was set as early as February 24, 2021: The trustee arranged for the previous managing director, Frank Glander, to be removed from the company register. This emerges from a mandatory publication in the official gazette of the Wiener Zeitung. Due to the bankruptcy proceedings, this process is purely a matter of form, as once the insolvency administrator has been appointed, the decision-making power lies with him.
